Sunday Ka Funda

Less is More. I talk less today...Eye ko strain nahi maangta.

My accomplishment/s for today:  (As recorded at 1.29 PM Sunday, 4th Jan)

1.  Made perfect Sabudana Vadas...first time in my life they came out this well...with an exclamation from dad... "ZABARDAST HAI...Eat them before they become cold, else they won't taste good"....eh????? My verdict: They were actually good...unbiased about my own cooking you know. Maybe salt can be reduced a bit.

2. Took Dad on a short drive near home...first time he's seen me drive. He sat next to me and everytime the car stopped (2 times), he went.. "KYA HUA??"...He was much more scared than I was driving the Indica :P ..Tried Mom's car yesterday....now can handle driving that Maruti too...but it keeps jumping like a horse for some reason. That shows I still need a lot of practise.

That was events of today thus far. Had a loooooonnggg fun talk with Hemanth over the phone last night. Roadie Shodie talk. Thinking of blogging on it but it will take a lot of time. And I am not supposed to be sitting here and typing this either. :P

    Lucky you, about the driving! My dad refused to let me drive our car even in open spaces, forget about actual roads!!! Hence we have reached the situation today where I have a license but can't drive!!!

  1. SMRITI said...:

    @Reb

    Abbey Apne Des pahunch gaya??? Flight pakad li thi?? Arre waah :)

    Kimi wouldnt think anything...he's scared that I'm learning to drive...waise bhi Maruti is Jumping like the "Prancing Horse"..you know what I mean...Ferrari mein uski seat lene ki taiyaari chal rahi hai...waise bhi if he performs like last season, then 2010 mein sure I'll be making the real prancing horse jump :P

  1. SMRITI said...:

    @Reb
    Yeah re..sabudana vada...apna Vada-paav deal still on..dont worry :P

    @AQUA

    Hehehe...Well I hated cooking too but then paapi pet ka sawaal hai..When I used to ask mom to make so and so, she went "Khud bana liya kar"..initially ordered stuff, then pocket money kept running out so I got wise :P

    Yeah I know...Jus read his blog too..So happeee :D :P :D

    And you have something in ur inbox ;) Have a great week ahead..take care :)

  1. SMRITI said...:

    @Anoop

    Yeah...like Idol like worshipper :P Well not trying to follow his footsteps...comes naturally :P :D :P Like I said, its the Indian Prancing Horse :P

  1. SMRITI said...:

    @Renu

    I know :P I'm just starting...so lets discuss ur antics with the car when u r in hyd next...what say, meet up at Odyssey, catch a few good books and maybe I'll feel better about my driving lessons too :P

  1. SMRITI said...:

    @Shalom

    Hmmm..well I HAD to learn it, thanks to the number of drivers that change around here...its very hard to keep a driver for long here in Hyd...demand and supply ratio not in tandem. I have a few frnz who happen to face the same scenario as urs...my dad keeps askin me to "get confident as soon as I can" ..so thats that.

  1. k.ø.c.h.ü said...:
